ZENITH ANDER is a professional voting member of the prestigious BAFTA North America & UK, Australia's AACTA
& is a member of the American Film Institute, Australians in Film, Scottish Screenwriters, and is the founder of Female Film Connect which boasts over 2000 LA-based film professional members.
Zenith's own production 'Roommates' has won her 9 awards for Best Actress and Best Series for her roles as Tash and Mackenzie.
In May 2023 Zenith's script 'A Good Call' was a semi-finalist at the San Diego International Film Awards, her first script entry into a festival, and in 2024 was an Official Selection at both the Austin Short Film Festival and at LA Under the Stars.
In February 2023 she won Best Actress at the Cannes Independent Film Awards, and in 2022 again won Best Actress at the NYC Independent Film Festival, at the Hollywood Blvd Film Festival and Popcorn Joy Film Festival.
In 2021 she won again for Best Actress at the Pure Magic International Film Festival,
and in 2020 at the Flicks Monthly Film Festival, the 1st Monthly Film Festival and the URUVATTI International Film Festival.
She also won Best Web Episode at the Eurasia International Monthly Film Festival in 2020 for 'Eilidh'.
Her work has been a finalist and included in the official selection list of numerous other international film festivals.
In 2023 Zenith launched her Podcast Journey to the Zenith available on Spotify, Apple Music and iHeart.
Zenith's film career spans Australia, Europe and the United States. She hosted the international film festivals:
The World Film Fair held in Santa Monica, California and the Dreamachine Film Festival in North Hollywood, California in 2019.
Zenith is an official selection judge for the BAFTA Student Awards each year
and has also been a judge at the NoHo (North Hollywood) Cinefest and LA Under the Stars Film Festival.
As an actress, she can be seen in the American network ID Channel’s ‘People Magazine Investigates’ series
and 'Murder in the Heartland'. She has starred in commercials for Holden Motors, IKEA and Jetstar Airways, and has voiced animation as well as radio commercials and promotions for Australia's ABC and Triple J radio.
As a Scottish-born and Australian-raised actor, Zenith has been called upon for her unique accent and voice work.
In 2020 Zenith modeled & was featured in Magic Society's online campaign.
Zenith’s theatre roots were her first introduction to performance.
In Melbourne, Australia Zenith began her acting career in Children’s Theatre as a teenager for 'Cartoon Creations' of
Humphrey B. Bear & Fat Cat fame as a suited character, starring in holiday shows.
The Jack of All Trades' production 'Y2K' at Ripponlea Estate was her first stage play.
Later, she starred as Anneke in ‘Shallow Heart’ at the Blue Room Theatre Perth in Australia, the Melbourne Short and Sweet Festival
production of ‘The Knitting Circle’ at the Melbourne Arts Centre, and in Sydney she was cast in Peter Flaherty’s
‘Perfidy’ for Crash Test Drama.
She has been a live script reader for television professionals in Hollywood with Live Read LA, and studied improv at the renowned Upright Citizen’s Brigade and Groundlings theater schools.
Zenith attended the Beverly Hills Playhouse for advanced study with renowned Hollywood director Howie Deutch.
She also attended Playhouse West for weekly study with Robert Carnegie.
Her debut television role was as Tania Morgan on the multi-award winning ‘Blue Heelers’, premiered on Channel 7 in Australia while she was still studying at The William Bates Academy of Performing Arts in Melbourne, Australia.
Zenith has starred in a number of short films and her first was in the lead role of
Adrielle in 'Left of Centre' produced & filmed in Melbourne's inner suburb of Fitzroy.
As well as an actor and voice artist, Zenith is a screenwriter.
In 2022 Zenith was awarded and attended an Artists Residency placement in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico
to complete her short film script 'InVerse'.
Zenith has worked behind the camera on international blockbusters, commercials and indie films alike. She was the Traffic Assistant Director on George Miller's 'Mad Max, Fury Road', Russell Crowe's 'The Water Diviner',
Bryan Brown & Sam Neill's 'Old School', and location manager and assist for countless national and
international commercials & brands, and in 2024 joined the crew on SBS's MONI and the BBC's Return to Paradise.
